The Power Supply Control Box for the 8Streme Black Pearl Pool Cleaner that you referenced is water resistant. This power supply is not waterproof, therefore it should not be left outside when not being used. The manufacturer requires that you place this power transformer at least 11ft from the pool for protection and safety. Please reference page 3 of the manufacturer's installation and safety instructions below for proper use and care of this system.
