Apply Teflon tape to the threads of the shut off valve and xxxx (hand-tight) the shut-off valve into the thru-wall skimmer, pump intake, filter outtake or return jet. Then Apply Teflon tape to the threads of the hose fitting and xxxx (hand-tight) into the shut-off valve.
