To install the Hydrotools Drain Plug with Gasket, simply thread/screw the plug clockwise into the drain fitting on your pump or cartridge filter lid. Make sure the gasket is in place, then tighten the plug by screwing it clockwise by hand until it is snug, no tools needed. Avoid over-tightening to prevent damage.
