The Hayward Perflex EC50 D.E. Filter System requires 5lbs of D.E. Powder. If you choose to purchase the Jack's Magic instead of D.E. Powder, then you would use 14.5 oz. of Jack's Magic for this system. You should purchase (2) bags of Jack's Magic for your Hayward Perflex EC50 D.E. Filter System. It’s a good idea to keep extra bags on hand in case you need more throughout the season.
