An Electric Heat Pump would be a great choice to heat your swimming pool. Heat pumps will operate more efficiently than a natural gas or propane heater reducing your swimming pool heating costs. Any model 112,000 BTU or larger would be sufficient for a 25,000 gallon swimming pool. If you would like to extend your swimming season into the late Fall or early Spring or if you live in a colder area we would recommend oversizing the heat pump to a 127,000 BTU or larger unit. You can view our selection of Heat Pumps on the following page: https://www.thepoolfactory.com/collec...
You can also view our natural gas and propane heaters on the following pages. A 250,000 BTU or larger size natural gas or propane heater would be a good option. The Hayward 135K BTU Natural Gas & Propane heaters are not designed by the manufacturer for operation above an altitude of 2000 feet:
Pool heaters must be installed in accordance with all local and state codes and you must follow the manufacturer's installation instructions and procedures.
