The Hayward S180T 18" Sand Filter System with 1.5-HP Power-Flo Pump does not feature an on/off switch. The best way to turn the filter system on and off for the desired number of hours each day is to use an outdoor timer like the ones on the link below. A timer will help automate the pool maintenance for you and avoid cloudy water and algae.
