You would know that the Power Supply Control Box needs to be replaced if none the lights turn on at all. If the lights do not come on when plugged into power, then it could either be caused by a burnt fuse or power supply failure. Please also check to make sure that your electrical receptacle is working properly.
If the fuse is burnt it can easily be changed, but if the power supply has stopped working entirely after checking that the fuse is in good condition, then the entire power supply control box may need to be replaced. The fuse is located on the bottom of the power supply right above the power cable. To replace the fuse take a small flat head screwdriver, press in and give a half turn to the fuse holder and it will pop out. The fuse is a 5S3.15A 125v and can be found anywhere fuses are sold.
Based off of what you are describing, it sounds like it could be an issue with the salt cell, not the power supply control box. You may need to clean the cell if the check cell light or the low salt light is illuminated. Instructions for cleaning the cell can be found on page 7 of the owners manual located on the following page: www.thepoolfactory.com/cdn/shop/files...
The check cell light or low salt light can also illuminate if the salt reading is not at the correct level (recommended Salt Level is between 2800 to 3500 ppm). Typically the salt cell for the Solaxx Saltron Retro is replaced after 1-2 seasons. How long the cell lasts depends on the usage. Properly maintaining and cleaning the cell would help to make it last longer.
