Above ground pools can be installed on top of concrete, however, oval above ground swimming pools include components that make it difficult to install on top of hard surfaces, such as concrete, pavers, blacktop, etc. The instruction manual provided by the pool manufacturer includes installation and safety instructions for assembling the swimming pool on top of level ground (earth/soil). Installing a round or oval above ground swimming pool on top of a hard surface like concrete is a more complex installation and should only be performed by a professional pool installation company.
