An Electric Heat Pump is an excellent choice for heating a 15' × 26' oval swimming pool. Heat pumps are more energy-efficient than natural gas or propane heaters, helping to lower your pool heating costs. For a 15' × 26' oval pool, any model rated 50,000 BTU or higher will be sufficient. If you want to extend your swimming season into late fall or early spring, or if you live in a colder climate, we recommend choosing a larger unit 84,000 BTU or more for optimal performance.
