Yes, the air pillow can be used in hot climates such as Arizona. However, its intended purpose is for winterizing an above ground pool, not for year-round use. The air pillow is designed to be placed beneath a winter pool cover to help absorb the pressure created when water freezes and expands, protecting the pool wall, liner, and cover from potential damage.
For best results, inflate the air pillow to approximately 60% of its capacity so it can compress as needed. Secure it in the center of the pool using the built-in grommets and loosely tied string attached to the pool's top rails.
