Properly winterizing an above ground/semi-in ground pool requires the use of a Winter Cover, Skimmer Winterizing Plate, Threaded Winterizing Plug, and Air Pillow. Installing the skimmer winterizing plate and threaded winterizing return plug are the most crucial steps in winterizing an above ground pool.
